Please read these terms before using our booking services. They apply to the Destination Hub website, hotel searches and booking requests, attraction and experience bookings, price comparisons and Booking Management. Booking-specific supplier conditions shown before you book also form part of the relevant booking.
1. About Destination Hub
Destination Hub Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17323588, with registered office at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. You can contact us through our Contact Us page.
2. Our role and the services on this website
Destination Hub provides travel search, retail and booking-arrangement services. We source hotel accommodation and attractions or experiences from third-party accommodation providers, operators, suppliers and booking technology providers. The hotel or accommodation property provides the stay. Attractions and experiences are normally operated by the supplier identified in the product or booking information. If Destination Hub itself operates a service, that will be stated.
The identity of the relevant operator or provider, where applicable and available to us, together with material booking conditions, is shown in the product, rate details, checkout or booking confirmation. Supplier conditions apply in addition to these terms where they relate to the service being booked.
3. Information before you book
Before you become bound by a booking, you should review the main characteristics of the service, dates, guest or participant details, total price, payment arrangements, cancellation conditions and any material restrictions shown in the booking flow. Please contact us before booking if anything important is unclear.
4. Hotel search and Request to Book
Hotel rates and availability shown on the website are live or recently retrieved supplier information and can change until a reservation is confirmed. Clicking “Request to Book” does not itself create or guarantee a hotel reservation and does not hold inventory. We recheck the selected rate and process the request. A hotel booking exists only when Destination Hub sends you booking confirmation.
If a price, room, board basis, cancellation condition or other material term changes before confirmation, we will not treat the changed option as confirmed without giving you the updated information and, where required, obtaining your agreement.
5. Attractions and experiences
For attractions and experiences, availability, times, ticket categories, age rules, meeting points, inclusions, exclusions and cancellation conditions are supplied by the relevant operator or supplier. Where secure online checkout is enabled, your card may be authorised while the selected slot is reserved and the payment is captured only after the supplier confirms the booking. If confirmation fails, the payment flow will not be treated as a successful booking.
Where online checkout is not available, an attraction Request to Book is only a request and is not a confirmed reservation until confirmation is issued.
6. When a contract is formed
Website search results, “from” prices, quotes and booking requests are not themselves booking confirmations. The contract for a particular hotel or attraction service is formed when the booking is accepted and confirmation is issued, subject to the booking-specific terms displayed or supplied for that service. Keep your confirmation and booking reference.
7. Prices, taxes, fees and currency
UK consumer law requires clear and accurate price information, including mandatory charges in the total price where they can reasonably be calculated. Accordingly, where a total price can reasonably be calculated from the information supplied to us, the price presented before booking will include mandatory taxes, fees and charges that you must pay for the selected service. If a mandatory variable or local charge cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will identify the charge or the way it is calculated where that information is available to us. Amounts payable locally may also be shown separately for clarity.
Prices may be shown in different currencies. If a conversion is provided, exchange rates can change and your card issuer or bank may use a different rate or charge its own fees. Optional extras are charged only when selected or expressly agreed.
8. Hotel competitor price checks and price challenges
Competitors price checks are optional and provide a time-sensitive comparison of competitors’ public prices successfully returned for the selected hotel and stay. It may cover only the named competitors shown in the result. A comparison does not mean Destination Hub has checked every website or that our price is the lowest price available anywhere.
Like-for-like comparisons can be affected by room type, occupancy, meal plan, cancellation flexibility, payment timing, taxes, membership or app-only prices, loyalty discounts and other restrictions. If the comparison allows us to lower our displayed rate, the updated Destination Hub price is shown before you continue.
9. Payment
Available payment methods depend on the booking. Eligible attractions may be paid by card through our connected payment processor. Hotel bookings may use card, bank transfer or another payment arrangement where offered. The amount, currency, payment timing and any pay-later date will be communicated before the booking is completed.
A card authorisation is not the same as a confirmed booking. For attraction checkout, payment is intended to be captured after supplier confirmation. If a payment or booking status is uncertain, contact us before attempting duplicate payment.
10. Cancellation, amendments and the 14-day cooling-off rule
Cancellation and amendment rights depend on the specific rate or ticket conditions shown before booking and in your confirmation. Some bookings allow free cancellation until a deadline; others may involve a charge or be non-refundable. Any cancellation charge remains subject to applicable consumer law.
Important: under regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the usual 14-day distance-contract cancellation right does not apply to accommodation or services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. For dated hotel stays and attractions, the booking-specific cancellation terms therefore normally apply. This does not remove any other statutory rights you may have.
Where Booking Management offers self-service cancellation, live cancellation eligibility is rechecked before the request is submitted. If self-service cancellation is unavailable, use our Contact Us page as soon as possible.
11. Changes or cancellation by a supplier
A hotel or attraction operator may occasionally change or cancel a service for reasons such as operational, safety or availability issues. If we are notified of a material change before performance, we will pass on the information available to us and provide the options required by the applicable booking terms and law. Nothing in these terms removes rights you may have where a confirmed service is not provided as agreed.
12. Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate names, dates, guest or participant numbers, child ages where requested, contact details and any other information needed for the booking. Check spelling against travel or identification documents where the supplier requires this. You are responsible for passports, visas, immigration requirements, travel insurance and complying with reasonable hotel or operator rules unless we expressly agree to provide a particular service.
Special requests, accessibility requirements and dietary requests should be raised before booking where possible. A request is not guaranteed unless it is expressly confirmed.
13. Product descriptions and supplier information
We take reasonable steps to present supplier information accurately, but hotel facilities, attraction itineraries, meeting points, opening arrangements and other operational information can change. If we become aware of a material error before you book, we will correct it. Images may be illustrative unless identified as showing the specific room, ticket or service being booked.
14. Packages and linked travel arrangements
Destination Hub normally offers individual travel services, such as a hotel booking or an attraction or experience booking, rather than selling them together as a package. Unless expressly stated otherwise, separate searches or purchases on this website are not intended to create a package.
However, whether an arrangement is a “package” or “linked travel arrangement” is determined by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and the facts of the transaction. If those Regulations apply to a particular arrangement, the statutory protections they provide apply and nothing in these terms excludes or limits them.
15. Promotional codes and discounts
Promotional codes are subject to the conditions shown with the promotion. Unless stated otherwise, a code cannot be exchanged for cash, may be limited to particular services or dates and may be withdrawn for future bookings. A discount does not reserve availability. Mandatory fees or charges are not hidden by a promotion and the price information shown before booking remains the amount to review.
16. Our legal responsibilities
We will perform the services we provide to you with reasonable care and skill, including the statutory standard in section 49 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it applies. We are responsible for our own obligations under the booking and applicable consumer law. Third-party hotels and attraction operators are responsible for operating the accommodation or experience they provide, subject to the legal and contractual structure of the particular booking.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer law. These terms do not reduce your statutory consumer rights.
17. Events outside reasonable control
Travel services can be affected by events outside the reasonable control of Destination Hub or the supplier, including severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, government action, security incidents, transport disruption or other extraordinary events. Your rights and the options available will depend on the circumstances, the booking terms and any mandatory law that applies.
18. Personal information
We use personal information to search, arrange, administer and support bookings and to communicate with you. Information may need to be shared with hotels, attraction operators, booking technology providers and payment providers where necessary to provide the service. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information through free-text fields.
19. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, contact us through our Contact Us page with your booking reference and enough information for us to investigate. We will try to resolve the issue fairly and within a reasonable time.
If we issue a final response to a consumer complaint and a law or contract requires us to participate in an alternative dispute resolution arrangement, we will provide the required information about that arrangement. You can also obtain independent consumer advice from the Citizens Advice Consumer Service.
20. Governing law and courts
These terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law are unaffected. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future use of the website and future bookings. The version made available when you enter into a booking is the version relevant to that booking, together with its booking-specific conditions. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as the law permits.
